My Story So Far

From a young age, I've always known I was different. Unable to socialize well and without many friends, I turned to book and stories. Fantasies that took me away to another place. Growing up, I've since realized that I'm Autistic and I wouldn't change a thing. My stories have lived in my head for so long and now that my own family is old enough, I finally decided to pursue my lifelong dream. While I consider myself a jack of all trades and master of none, I've always loved the written word. I love to study people and how their minds work through Sociology and Psychology. More so I can understand and fit in, but this has allowed me  to embrace who I am. I've come to live by the tenet "Why Not?" And so, with that mindset, I started writing.

While managing a full time job, I also have a husband of eleven years who I am madly in love with and who supports me in his own ways (though he still doesn't quite understand why I write). We have three wonderful children together. A sixteen year old brilliant young man, a precocious and adventurous nine year old girl with too much sass, and a seven year old unstoppable force who usually gets what she wants one way or another. We have three dogs who keep us busy and shower us with love and affection.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy a mix of hobbies that changes according to my whims. I love to create and I love competing. I train in MMA to keep me healthy and thriving, devour true crime and crime shows, avidly read whatever strikes my fancy, and do arts and crafts.
